The Village
Hope is a small village located right in the heart of the Peak District. It offers three pubs, shops and a fantastic Indian restaurant who will actually serve you your meal in the Bikers Base around the ten seater table.
There are also a couple of cafes and a delicatessen for anything you may need in the day.
There is a village shop to get any groceries you may need, and there is even a farm shop stocking more locally produced items.

The historic village of Castleton is a mere 1.7 miles up the road, a must visit during your stay. It has a castle to explore, caverns to scramble through and plenty of little gift shops, restaurants and pubs. And if you're feeling adventurous, then the hill of Mam Tor is certainly something to go at.

Edale is also another village located closely to Hope. Edale is well known for its challenging walks and climbs, Kinder Scout being the most well-known, as it's the highest point in Derbyshire.
Getting there
If you are travelling by car, Hope is easily accessible with close links to Sheffield and the M1 or Stockport and Manchester. If you are travelling by train, the station is located 0.6 miles away from Bikers Base, which is approximately a 12 minute walk. There are also bus routes through the Hope Valley, so getting to us is easy.
